It is known that short lights and china nets are being used in different unions of Sadar Upazila of Gopalganj district. It should be noted that according to the Fisheries Protection and Conservation Act, 1950, fishing using these nets and equipment is a punishable offence. In such a situation, if anyone uses lights and china nets in Chandradighlia Union, he will be brought under the law.
